Dr. John has called Lincoln home most of his life. He always wanted to be a veterinarian and enjoys working with animals and the people who come with them. Spare time finds him working in his shop, or riding a bicycle.

Dr. Kaz has a lifelong love of animals and finds great satisfaction in caring for them. She spent several years doing relief work for Lincoln and Omaha area veterinarians until she and Dr. John purchased Bethany Animal Clinic in 2000. Dr. Kaz does our ultrasounds and has an interest in acupuncture and laser therapy. Dr. Kaz enjoys gardening, walks, and traveling.

Education: Walter Reed Army Medical Center

Wendy is one of our veterinary technicians with nearly 40 years of experience in veterinary medicine. She graduated from the Army course 91T - animal care/husbandry in Washington DC. Wendy loves providing care for our furry family members. Fun fact: She has worked as a kennel master, laboratory animal health technician, animal research technician and now as a clinical veterinary technician.

Education: University of Nebraska at Lincoln/Northeast Community College

Morgan is one of our licensed veterinary technicians with nearly 10 years of experience in the veterinary field. She earned her undergraduate degree from UNL, completing a dual major in Veterinary Science and Spanish, and later graduated from Northeast Community College Vet Tech Program in Norfolk. Morgan has since gotten married and is a proud mom to two beautiful boys. She is passionate about caring for animals and supporting the families who love them. Fun fact: Her favorite animal is the elephant!

Cheyanne is a veterinary technician who's been with Polaris Veterinary Center since graduating from Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture in 2019. She then graduated from UNL with a bachelor's degree in Veterinary Technology in 2021. She has a passion for animal behavior and enjoys getting to know clients and their furry family members! Cheyanne recently became a mom to a baby girl and spends her free time with her daughter, her husband and her 2 cats and 2 dogs. Fun fact: Cheyanne's hobby is reading and she reads about 100 books every year!
